Who we are
This website, nerdhonest.com, is operated by NerdHonest LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy covers this website only. Our products, including Age of Aeternus and Writerer, have their own privacy policies covering data collected inside those products.
What we collect
This site does not use accounts, contact forms, analytics trackers, or advertising cookies. We collect:
- Email you send us. If you choose to email us, NerdHonest LLC and its email service provider receive your email address, message, and any other information you include. We use that information to respond, manage the correspondence, protect our rights and security, and comply with applicable law.
- Hosting information. When you visit this site, Google Firebase Hosting automatically processes the IP address associated with the request to deliver and secure the site, detect abuse, and provide hosting-usage information. Google states that Firebase Hosting retains IP data for a few months.
How long we keep information
We retain email correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Firebase Hosting retains IP data according to Google's retention practices, which Google currently describes as a few months.
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Personal information may be processed by our hosting and email providers, and where disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or respond to legal process.
- We don't run third-party ad or analytics trackers on this site.
- We don't set cookies for tracking purposes.
- We serve our own fonts from this site — no third-party font requests.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This site does not track visitors over time across third-party websites and does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Accordingly, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change how this site operates, because there is no such tracking, sale, or sharing to opt out of.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has emailed us, contact privacy@nerdhonest.com so we can review and delete the information as appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information NerdHonest controls, which for this site is generally email correspondence. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@nerdhonest.com. We may verify your request and will respond subject to applicable exceptions. Information processed solely within third-party infrastructure may not be available to us in identifiable form.
Changes
We will post revisions on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal information collected under an earlier version, we will provide a prominent notice on the site before the change takes effect.
